Lakers Annual Dinner 2017:

Adelaile Pavilion-Parkview Room (Seating Table Round- 10 per Table)

Built in the Veale Gardens, the Adelaide Pavilion is housed in a structure with its design based on Cincinnati’s Frisch’s Mainliner Restaurant, noted for its unusual roof design. Although originally named “The Alpine Restaurant” when it first operated in January 1963 because of the Alpine garden established nearby, Adelaide Pavilion is today a private function centre that serves French and Mediterranean inspired cuisine.

Surrounding the Adelaide Pavilion, Veale Gardens features a lush mixture of evergreen and deciduous trees, a sunken rose garden, works of art, water features and a number of walks. It is a characteristic 1960s-styled semiformal garden, influenced by contemporary European urban public garden designs.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

For your convenience Adelaide Pavilion provides on-site parking. Subject to availability there are approximately 85 casual bays. The entrance to the carpark is located on South Terrace.  Free City Tram from South Terrace or City South Stop. (100 meters)

What can I bring into the event?

The Lakers Triathlon Club, welcome all members and guest’s. Nothing to bring but yourselves and guests. (a warm coat may be handy)

Dinner comprises:


DRINKS:  
Carlton Draught, Cascade Premium Light, Oxford Landing Sauvignon Blanc, Lindeman’s Shiraz Cabernet, Willowglen Sparkling White, Soft Drinks and Orange Juice (1 hr to accompany Starters on arrival + 4 hr with Dinner OR there about) + Freshly brewed coffee and selection of aromatic teas (with Dessert)

STARTERS:  on arrival. European Platter: Chef’s selection of marinated bocconcini, mature cheddar, kalamata olives, prosciutto, sopressa, salami, ham, marinated mushrooms, cornichons, mini frittata and sourdough bread pieces

SIT DOWN – Dinner (Formal-White Table Cloths)

ENTREE: one entrée selection

MAIN: Two main selection. Main course meals served with dinner rolls & butter, seasonal steamed vegetables, shared fresh leafy green salad served per table.

DESSERT: one dessert selection includes freshly brewed coffee and tea.
